These Halo games on Xbox were a lot of kids first online FPS experiences though, so I understand why they were popular.Īnother one we agree on. I think I was too old and too experienced with PC FPS to be impressed with these when they debuted. I thought they were a 6/10 and 7/10 respectively. I played and beat Halo 1 & 2 co-op with a friend many years ago. (I own but not have not tried the Metro games yet.) >STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl = excellence I played DOOM 3 on PC years back and was bored mightily. I'm going to give that version a try on 360 someday. >The BFG edition makes it better with good changes. Have you ever played any of the ARMA, Ghost Recon (as in PC GR), or Operation Flashpoint games? The AI in those series make F.E.A.R.'s look paltry in comparison. >awesome enemy AI and just pure bliss to play I still want to play MP3, and haven't yet. You can tell that Miyamoto and Iwata were not involved with MP2 (they were with MP1 and MP3). I got really far into MP2, but the further I played it, the worse it got. I have beaten other '00s FPS than what appears in these lists, but not all of them made the cut. (You can mention 2009 FPS games, just don't go into a lot of detail.) Yes sometimes our 10 year policy makes for silly instances like this! So in my lists, I'm only listing games I not only enjoyed, but also beat. Due to HRG's 10 year policy, 2008 is the highest we can go in detail. "And full of cheap shops and not somewhere I’d choose to visit again. This thread is meant to cover '00s FPS games (2000-2009).
